SARS-CoV-2 lineage dynamics

India (Updated on: 21-10-04)

Lineage dynamic plots displaying country-wise frequencies of SARS-Cov-2 lineages over time. Lineages detected as significantly on the rise are shown in colour. A * indicates the significant rise in frequency.
  • Standard plot: lineages detected as significant using the standard method.
  • Sub-lineage corrected plot: lineages detected as significant using the corrected frequencies. For the corrected frequencies, isolates that belong to a sublineage were included into the count (i.e. B.1.1.7 is counted for the parent lineage B.1.1) and therefore, frequencies over all lineages sum up to more than one.
  • Sliding window plot: lineages detected as significant using the sliding window method.
For further information about the SARS-Cov-2 lineage names, which follow the Pangolin nomenclature, see the FAQ, or click on the lineage name in the interactive plot.
